A script is a conversation map: what the bot says first, what options it offers, and what happens after each customer choice. A well-written script saves time and eliminates most manual exchanges. Below are four base branches that make up the majority of bots in the infobusiness space.
A script is nodes and transitions between them. A node is a message with text or buttons; a transition is what happens after a tap or a reply. The simplest script: greeting → menu → a specific branch.
Most real-world bots are built from several branches that cover the main situations: questions about the product, assessing the customer's readiness, addressing doubts, and steps towards purchase. It is convenient to write each branch separately and then connect them into a single script via the main menu.
This is the simplest and most useful branch — it answers the questions you hear every day. Make a list of 5–10 such questions and write a clear, 2–3 line answer to each.
Example: "Is the programme suitable for beginners? — Yes, no prior preparation is required. Everything is explained from scratch, at a comfortable pace."
If a question requires a longer answer, give a brief version in the bot and offer to go to a page with details or write to a manager.
Before pitching a product, it helps to understand where the customer is right now. A qualification branch asks 1–2 questions and directs the person to the right section.
Example: "Tell me where you are right now: just starting to explore this topic, already worked on it before, or looking to scale what you already have?"
Based on the answer, the bot routes to different branches — different texts, examples, arguments. This makes the conversation more precise and reduces irrelevant questions.
The most common objections in the infobusiness are "too expensive", "no time", "I'll think about it". For each, you can write a calm, honest reply without pressure.
Example for "too expensive": "I understand. The programme costs [price]. If you'd like to get a feel for the format first — there's a free introductory lesson. Want to try it?"
You do not need to close the objection in a single message. The goal of the branch is to keep the conversation going and give the customer a next step if they are ready to take it.
This is the final branch: the customer is ready to move forward. Clarity is what matters here — no unnecessary questions, just the required steps.
Example: "Great! Choose a format that works for you: a 30-minute online call or a written consultation with a reply within 24 hours."
After the choice — a payment button or a booking form. In the sales funnel, this step can lead directly to a payment link inside the chat.
A script works well for predictable steps: buttons, menus, payment, specific instructions. An AI chatbot comes in where the customer writes freely and would not press a button. The AI parses a free-form question and replies based on meaning, but it is not a replacement for an expert — non-standard situations are better handed off to a human.
The right architecture: the script holds the key steps, the AI helps where the script did not anticipate the request.
In Talvio, scripts are assembled in a visual editor — drag nodes, connect them with arrows, write text directly in the block. Branches, buttons, conditions, AI replies — everything in one editor, no coding required. You can start on the free plan (no card required); advanced features are available on the Pro plan at 2990 ₽/mo. Personal data is processed under 152-FZ: the operator is a sole proprietor (ИП) listed in the Roskomnadzor register.
Build your first script from these four branches and see how your bot performs on Talvio.
Setup takes a few minutes, no card is required, and you can cancel anytime.
